Packing help! 10 points!?

So i'm moving away for 2 years for school, i'm leaving aug 30 and returning christmas holidays. What do you recommend i use to pack..? Suitcase? Luggage carryon? I don't want to be overweight.. I'll be leaving some stuff in my mothers home and picking it up christmas holidays

    buy a marshall full stack and ship it to ur house and use the box it came in
