In your opinion, the most easy and most difficult Summer Olympic sports?
Easy: archery. That sport is the most likely where you can win the gold just by a fluke. Such as if it is extremely windy outside, and that throws off the professionals around you, but by sheer luck you hit a bulls-eye.
Difficult: uneven bars gymnastics. There is absolutely no way of BSing this sport without years of practice. Very few athletes receive a perfect 10 score.

When you're competing against the best in the world there is no such thing as easy. I've always held that the difficulty of a sport is down to the quality of your competition, not the sport itself. That said the open-water marathon swim held today looked absolutely brutal!
It would help us answer your question if you could clarify what you mean by easiest. Do you mean the least physically demanding, the least skills dependant, the easiest event to actually complete or the easiest event to earn a competition spot in?

As a personal trainer I used to work with an Olympic Bronze medallist, he said to me the easiest thing he has done is win an Olympic medal, but the hardest thing was getting picked for the Olympic team and the 40 or so hours a week of training for four years straight.
There isn't really an "easiest" or "hardest".

None of them are easy, just some off them look a bit easier then others. Whatever sport you competing in you will go up against the best in the world, now that is the hard part.
