What does it mean if you dream that you're in another person's home/house?

I dreamt that I found myself in a friend/coworkers home. The house wasn't exact theirs by appearance but still. Long story short, after snooping about as if I was looking to see was anyone there that shouldn't been. I came downstairs, saw a picture of her eldest daughter hugging her younger sister. Which then I realized I was in their home (dream home lol).

Outside her husband was on the phone, I guess taking a break from cutting grass. I hurried up out the backdoor and cut through their backyard to the opposite end of the neighborhood. What does this mean?

You show curiosity about the person whom the house belongs to...or to the co-worker/friend you referred to.  You were checking up by snooping around, and being the "snooper" you referred to. You really portray kind of a humorous dream as I can just see you making haste to run away as fast as you can from that place, so you don't get caught by her husband.   It is just a basic curiosity dream, a desire for more info about your friend.  I loved your dream.  It made my day!!!
