I need ideas to help with certain ballet steps.?
There are two steps that I have a lot of difficulty with at the barre if they are done in the same combination. If they are done separately I can do them without confusion but in combinations together I get all jumbled and it turns into a merge of the two steps and nothing is done right...
The two steps I am having trouble with are pas de cheval and enveloppe. Any hints for moving the working leg in the correct motion?

Perhaps try pausing between the two. Take a beat and then continue. After the pas de cheval leave your leg out for a beat and then proceed with the enveloppe. Once you get the feel of the motion then you can get rid of the beat in between and do it as a continuous motion.
