QB in 2nd round? Thoughts?

I am in a 12 team standard league with a little bit different of scoring system. 1 point for every 50 yards thrown, 1 poin for every 20 yards rushing, 1 point every 20 yards receiving, 4 points passing TD, 6 points for both receiving and rushing td. So very TD heavy. I am drafting 12th and want to know if this may be the perfect scenario to go Elite WR then Cam with my first two picks. Followed by two RBS (my mocks have been players like Rawls/LatMurray/DMurr/JStew) then follow up with wrs and TE. Do you think this is correct since QB scoring is important? A lot of QB S end up with 8 to 10 points since they throw for 200+ and 1 TD.

Thoughts on a strategy here?

My last Mock:

DEZ, Cam, LatMurray, Rawls, Emmanual Sanders, JStew, Crabtree, Gates, then bench players.

    With the exception of 4 points per passing TD, these are the original default Yahoo settings. I've been using them in one of my leagues for years.

    But it's surprising you'd even consider Cam this early! This scoring devalues QBs by quite a bit. Even in more typical settings, most savvy players don't take QBs this early, so I'd wait and just find 2 guys in later rounds that play well in the right matchups. There's lots of them this year.

    Anyway, your mocks are producing some odd RBs imo. Someone like CJ Anderson or Lamar Miller should be available and I'd grab both these guys if they are. They're also more likely to score TDs with new QBs on board (Anderson on the ground and Miller through the air.)

    If not, I'd take Bryant plus one of them,. He's in midseason form and is probably undervalued. Otherwise, I'd wait at WR and just grab top 2 on board with your next picks. There's a ton of them that are still in the top 50 overall and would be fine.

    I love your mock RBs..

    But,you over rate Cam.

    I'd go 2 WRs,or WR + Gronk with your 1st 2 picks.

    I actually like Rodgers better than Cam this year with Jordy Nelson coming back.
