I believe many of the congressional democrats are actually working in the interests of Islam.

They use the interests of Islam to exploit the fears of Republicans in order to accuse racism and bigotry.

Hillary is acting in the interests of Hillary and the Clinton Machine. If those interests happen to mesh with those of another group, it is purely by chance.

We have a Constitutional separation of Church and State - which is the biggest gift that the USA has given the world. No President - ever - has placed his religious beliefs above the need to respect the US Constitution. The moment you think the job is to advance a religion like Christianity - you have lost the foundation for a great nation. History has taught us that the concept of a state religion is an invitation for zealots to persecute religious minorities. That's when the nation unravels..when you want to split the republic based on your beliefs.
