I dont wanna go back to school?
Hey so I've wanted this for a long time. First off, I hate every single person at my school. They're alll caught up in the trends of this world and I'm more of a person who doesn't care about trends. I like to dress my best, and listen to music but sometimes it's hard to keep up. People are so judgemental and can't take that negativeity in my life. Everyone is all about that drama. And I'm a socially ackward girl who barely has and friends bc i lost them after elementary when everybody started to be popular and fake. And am incapable of making more bc no one is intersted in ME. IOf course I wouldn't want to be popular bc honnestly it seems boring and I dont like any of the fake over dramatic people involved. I feel all down and derpressed from going to school. Help
pretend the title is how to convince your parent to online school k thanks

Today is the fourth day of school and I've already took a test and I have a test tomorrow. The stress can get to you. Adding on to that, friends and your social life is pretty hard to control too. I say focus on what you find most important. Right now, focus on school. Friends wI'll come to you naturally if you join clubs and classes that you actually have an interest in. Just remember to be yourself and the friends you make now might not be there for you tomorrow.

HS / college are messed up. People are so emotionally damaged that they get totally washed up in fads and think it'll make up for their lack of inner thoughts. Not the ones about how to politically outmaneuver their classmates, the other ones that normal people have.
Online school solves nothing. You'll need to network later to get a job. Personally, I wouldn't be willing to become one of these freaks (even if they're in the majority, let's face it, something is *wrong* with them), but you still are stuck being around them unless you move to the country or another country entirely.
People pretend it gets better, but it doesn't. People stay that way and learn to hide it under other facades. Bowling for Soup was right -- high school never ends.
Think about it before you make your decision.

Who does? I mean, parents are always saying how you get to meet your friends (they get to get rid of you everyday so they love it...) and all of that, but there's a lot more to it. It's like a lifestyle and I hardly ever get time to myself. Like now, I'm supposed to be doing homework and here I am on Yahoo Answers lol. But anyway, you said people at your school were negative, you sound pretty negative yourself buddy. Try to pick up your attitude and make some friends. Trust me, school is SO MUCH easier with some people to talk to sometimes. Just trust me. It'll get better after the first week or two, you just need to get used to it.

"They're all caught up in the trends of this world and I'm more of a person who doesn't care about trends"
So what happens when you have to go out into the real world and have to get along with people and grin and bare it even when you don't like them or can't stand them? You'll deal with nasty bosses, supervisors who are ******* and co-workers who are drama queens back stabbers all kinds personalities and parasites.

Honestly just focus on school. Trust me at the end of the day its not going to matter. What will matter is how well you did in school. Ignore the drama the trends and all that. I know you hear it all the time but your grades should really be your priority. Cause when your filling up those college apps. Theyre not going to ask you if you made sure you followed the trend back in the summer of 2014. Friends will follow .

Same. It sucks, but we all have to deal with it. Show your parents the benefits of online schoo, Ex; more family time, you could do more chores around the house (that's more like bargaining hehe), the focus would be only on you and not 30 other students, etc. also explain to them that you don't fit in at school and how the people are rude.

Hey, the people you claim are "popular" all have personal struggles that no one ever knows about. It's your choice whether to accept people or not. You will have to go to school, but change your mindset. Be more positive and accepting. It could turn your life around.
If you need anyone to talk to, I'll love to help!

I definitely feel like we could be friends. I used to think the same way my freshman year, I feel like I have a hollow hole in my chest. I talk to everyone, but they're just meaningless conversations that mean nothing to me. I can't call anyone in my school a friend, no one there has made in effort in trying to be my friend. Sorry if this sounds super depressing... PS opps! :D

Going through the same. Can we be friends? Personally, there is the bully trio which I hate! I guess we all don't want to go back!
