Is he lying plz help me !!!?

So this guy i like we were supposed to go somewhere together the past weekend. First he wasn't sure if wants to go and then he said he'll go. The morning of the day we were supposed to go he texted me saying "his grandfather died so we need to go another day. I mean when he said anotehrr day he could have just said it to make me believe him more

    You should interrogate him the next time you see him face to face. Ask him about his grandfather. If he stutters and just doesn't sound truthful, then you know that he was lying

    ask some mutual friends, maybe they could help you figure out if he was lying

    I would have dumped him the first time he said he "wasn't sure if he wants to go" somewhere with me. Why bother with him at all?
