how to make an easy inexpensive homemade forge?

    I made a forge once out of four Coors bottles, two horseshoes, an old whittling stick and some lady's soiled underwear. Thing of beauty that forge. I called her Bessie.

    Depends if you want coal, propane or oil fired. I made a propane one out of an old air tank, some ceramic insulation, a few fire bricks and built two burners for it. The whole thing cost me like $100 not including a propane tank an regulator. You best bet is to check out a few forums.
