When you restore your computer back to default settings, does is delete Word, Excel, Powerpoint...?

    Default setting will include every program that originally came with the computer when you purchased it.

    Any programs (software) you added since then will be lost.

    Any documents you created since then will be lost.

    Things like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint were likely pre-installed when the computer was new.

    The best thing to do is to back up anything you added since day one onto an external hard drive.
