    real simple.

    f(u) = u^2 - 9

    g(u^2 - 9)

    g(u^2 - 9) = (u^2 - 9)^3

it's just sub. in for x.

    f(x)=x²-9

    g(x) =x³

    g(f(u)) =(u²-9)³

plug the f-function in for the x in the g-function
