How do I get someone's credit record, with their permission of course?

I have a property to let in Glasgow. A friend of a friend may be interested. Before giving her a lease, I would want to check her credit record. How do I do this?

    Possibly the easiest way is for your friend to apply for her own credit record and many you can now do online and are free, there are 3 main companies and each company may have something different, so bear that in mind. If they have online access to the record, your friend can apply and you can watch while they access it and print it off

    You must be registered with a credit bureau, in order to gain information.
