If the eBay seller offered a different solution to a refund but said in the message he'll be giving a refund am I still getting the refund?

So I requested a refund, and the seller said this:

Bonjour Mon compte a été piraté et je n'ai donc pas de console a envoyé Ebay est au courant je pense donc que vous allez être remboursée. Cordialement.

Hello My account was hacked and so I did not console sent Ebay is aware so I think you will be repaid. cordially

And so instead of saying the seller accepted the refund request they "offered another solution"
