Yes, whatever you buy, your mom will like it

They used to have larger commercial vibration machines in gyms back in the 1970s and 80s. All of them were removed because they didn't work. So now the clever manufacturers build a miniaturised version, employ beautiful healthy fit models who didn't use the device, tell you it works and charge a lot of money for a piece of junk that doesn't help with weight loss at all.

Bad idea your best bet is to take back the machine and get her either a gift card to a gym ( if you know she is serious about losing weight and won't be offended by it) take her out to dinner and it give her some nice perfume or buy her a nice outfit and give her a card to tell her how much you love her good luck with what ever you choose

Horrible present. Never give a gift that says "You are fat". Take it back and exchange it for a gift card at that store. Besides those things do not help weight loss.

Also never give a woman a home appliance as a gift.

Vibration machines are a relic from exercise salons of the '50s. They did NOT work. Big waste of money. A better gift would be a book of healthy recipes or a spa gift certificate.

    No - it's a terrible idea.

For one thing, they don't work.

But mainly because no-one would like to get something like that as a gift.

Maybe get her a gift card for some new clothes when she's lost the weight?

    No.

Bad idea. Women don't like getting exercise equipment for their birthday. They take it as an insult to their appearance.

No, don't do this. Eat healthy food and go for walks with her. That is a better present.

    Those things don't work.

They might soothe sore muscles but that's about it.

There's only two ways to lose weight.

    Diet and exercise

total waste of money, they don't work. if they did you would loose weight simply sitting in your car as it vibrates.

if you want to help your mom loose weight, forget the vibrating machine, get her some cookbooks, healthy cook books/healthy eating.

some actual exercise equipment like loose weights, ankle weights etc.
