Best grass for my lawn?
We are adding on to our house and all the vehicles have killed all of our grass from being compacted so we are going to redo own lawn but I live near Charlotte and sometimes in the winter it gets below freezing and sometimes in the summer it gets above 100 Degrees f also we have a lot of shade in our yard but there is also some sunny spots so I need to know the best grass that we could use in our yard that would look good and thrive

Grass Types In Charlotte.
[*] Tall Fescue makes up 80% of the lawns in Charlotte.
[*] 15% are Bermuda
[*] while Zoysia, Bluegrass, Ryegrass and Centipede make up the other 5%.
[*] Tall Fescue is considered a cool season grass and performs best in the cooler temperatures of spring and fall.
