How to skip annual performance review for interview with another company? Other interviews coming too.?
So my boss scheduled my performance review at the same time and day as an interview. The interviewer will absolutely not change the time/date (Govt). My boss sits accross from me, so its pretty uncomfortable sometimes.
So how do I bail on this performance review, but still keep the door open for other interviews that same week where I might have to take a whole day off (not yet scheduled)?
I used dentist appointment already this week.

Can't help but laugh at the irony.....bailing on performance review to interview for another job. Thanks for the laugh.
Diarrhea? Sick relative? Whatever excuse you give, your employer isn't stupid.

Oh yeah, I was cracking up real hard. He is def not stupid. I'm just trying to avoid getting fired before I get the new job. Because I have access to all bank accounts, employee files etc... I dont see that he has a choice except to let me go immediately after he finds out.
