Her character was just plain a storyline casualty. It was the shows idea and they told her several months ago.
Her character was what I call an "air filler" in recent years she didn't really have much a storyline other than always hiding Carlos.
I'm guessing there will be a custody battle over her baby and we will learn that Michael is really the baby's father.

It was not her choice .... a lot of strange goings on at GH .... she's gone, Nicholas so call contract? Morgan quits .... something is going on.
