Is it true the DMZ is a tourist attraction?

The other night I was watching "Better Late Than Never", where the four geezers traipsed through Seoul. According to a graphic in the show, the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) is the #1 tourist attraction in South Korea.

Is this true?

I doubt more people visit the DMZ each year than visit Seoul in general, but if you're asking about the amount of visitors that any one particular attraction might draw, the DMZ would definitely be up there. Essentially there are two reasons why: #1: South Korea doesn't really have much to offer when it comes to things to see and do and #2: You could find practically anything that's available here elsewhere and chances are that it would be far more authentic and enjoyable elsewhere. The DMZ however is one of the very few exceptions. Nothing like it exists anywhere else in the world. It's an interesting, unique, one-of-a-kind experience that you can't find any place else. There are a few sights in Seoul, there's Gyeongju, there are a few mountains that are worth a visit, but practically everything in this country is overrated from Gangnam to Jeju. But the DMZ is the real deal.

Seoul is the capital of Korea and it's around 600 decades of record and now you can find it with hotelbye . Seoul is the heart of Korea's lifestyle and training along with politics and economics. Seoul is house to numerous previous historical internet sites like Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung Palaces, and places of conventional culture like Bukchon Hanok Village, Insa-dong, and Namdaemun Market. The buying and activity districts of Myeongdong and Apgujeong, and Asia's greatest underground shopping center COEX Mall also pull a large quantity of tourists every year. In only one word, Seoul is extraordinary, is just a town worth visit.
