Canelo is not scared he and Oscar are just being smart buisness men, and making $$$ hype before the fight, you're thoughts?

Floyd Pacq took 5yrs Canelo is fighting Ggg next sept. Honestly you cant blame the guy its his second biggest fight and he's the star might as well cash out. If you know anything about Canelo you know he isn't scared just playing it smart and everyone will fall for it.

Well GGG is already 34, I don't want to see a 29 year old Alvarez beating on a 37 year old GGG, they're both prime now so there's no excuse for not making the fight immediately.

We want to see the best vs the best not 'the best' vs 'long past it'.

If he just said "I can't do 160lb" rather than "We don't f**k around" and "I'll put on the gloves again" when Kellerman asked him about Golovkin then we wouldn't be saying he's running scared but to hold the middleweight title and then dump it when they make GGG your mandatory smacks of fear.

    Canelo is scared of GGG.

He is scared for good reason too. Years ago, GGG hurt him to the body and stunned him in a sparring session. Word is that Canelo tried to get rough in sparring (as GGG takes it easy on everyone he spars), and GGG increased his intensity some to match Canelo. After Canelo was stunned (and he retreated), he started taking it easy and GGG took it easy too.

Canelo is the A side - no doubt about it, but he is technically flawed in his footwork and balance. He has to set himself squared to unleash his combinations, and he oftentimes lunges with power punches when he starts to gas in the latter rounds. Speaking of which, his stamina and volume of punches are not good at all. That's why Liam Smith (a C+ level fighter) was able to tag him by swarming him with punches initially.

154Lb fighters like Demetrius Andrade, Julian Williams, Kell Brook, and Jermell Charlo would beat him because they have better footwork fundamentals and can use lateral movement.

At 160Lbs, David Lemieux would simply swarm him with power combinations and stun him. Curtis Stevens would use outside boxing and movement to set up his power combinations and also stun Canelo.

I think Billy Joe Saunders would simply outbox him.

GGG would destroy him by 7-9 rounds.

The only thing Canelo can do is hide at 154Lbs, fight C+ and B- level bums (while avoiding the division's big dogs) and wait for GGG to get old. A coward's way out and very un-Mexican of him.

I'm a Canelo fan. But to wait for another year against GGG is just so fkn tiring.

Ohhh... so the new euphemism for cowardly antics and behavior is "playing it smart," huh? Sheesh, forgive me, I'm not up to date on euphemisms and excuses.

Being that shitty reason, smart businessmen makes the boxing a dying sports...Coward can also hide from that shitty reason either...
