What percent of the British army was Canadian in the war of 1812 against the U.S.?

I know the war of 1812 was a minor war compared to the Napoleonic wars - did the British pull many troops out of Europe to fight it- or were they mainly just using forces raised in Canada?

Update:

Stop saying "They weren't Canadian, Canada didn't exist" As it fails to answer the question. As I stated in the details - the definition for Canadian isn't a citizen of the country of Canada but British colonist living in what would be Canada today.

Most of them. The bulk of the fighting was done by the Canadian Militia. Namely, the people who were then living in the place that would one day be called Canada. Most British regulars were off fighting in Europe.

Canada didn't exist during the War of 1812. The land mass was referred to as British North America.

At the start of the war there were about 5,200 British troops. By the end of the war there were about 48,000 British troops. There were 10,000 Provincial regulars and 4,000 militia raised in British North America (Canada). Regiments such as the Royal Newfoundland regiment date back to the provincial regulars.
