I feel like USA is getting dumber and losing common sense? What countries are opposite of this?

I feel like USA is getting dumber. I know I can say every little thing but I will name few examples. Actually, maybe 3 is sufficient to see where Im going with this.

-- If the school sends home a memo saying clothing that IS NOT ALLOWED in school, the parents today are saying its BS and sends the kids to school in those items. When school says they are going against school policy and send them home to change, the parents either bring them something worse or complain the school is at fault. Sometimes they even say school is sexualizing girls, only find fault with girls, and everything under the sun to try and cover-up that they did wrong.

-- Now parents are friends and say you supposed to be a friend to their kids and not an actual parent.

-- Parents are shaming all the wrong things their kids do on Facebook and other social media sites.

Do people not have any sense anymore? Are most people that dumb now? i know it can go with each generation but I swear this is the dumbest where most people are losing their common sense.

Are there countries who actually have sense? Ex. They see you cant wear something to school and most parents know better than to let kids go in something against school policy. Parents can actually be their parent and and do their job, and not be forced to be their friend. Parents should know not to shame kids on the internet.

Or is society everywhere changing where this is the new norm, so it doesnt matter where you live?

Update:

Sometimes I feel like leaving the USA from all this dumb sh!t thats happening, and moving somewhere else. But who knows if it would actually happen? Its called life.

I've thought about this myself on multiple occasions. I think the sudden "dumb streak" can be explained by a sheer lack of morals. My niece is in high school now, and she always tells me that kids in her generation seem to talk a lot about drugs and sex. Of course, not every kid is like this, but as for the majority... Anyways. We all just need to open our eyes to the real world. I've traveled the globe, and I've seen things that I can never forget- things that people back home never even think about, because they're busy complaining about Trump and Hillary. As for countries being the opposite of this?... Eh. They're all the same, or at least will be at some point in time. Just think of this time as the USA's dark ages.

Okay first of all your reasons are very dumb.

Secondly, if the school sends home something say "your child cant wear tanktops.." many parents abide and tell their children they cant. I haven't heard any complaints about the school dress code. At least not from the parents. Most of my friends just wear sweatshirts and Pants over their clothing so they dont get caught. The Parents do say something but kids can be sneaky. Thirdly, I have NEVER heard a parent say the school is sexualizing girls.. what are you even talking about.

Next, you say that parents are friends of the child and that is not true. For the most part I hear parents say you AREN'T supposed to be their friend.

Please, PLEASE get better reasons. You would have failed the Argumentative Writing Assignment in 8th grade. At least in the USA but we are getting dumber anyway.

    1. Dress codes ARE stupid. To a degree. I do NOT agree with booty shorts and midriff tops, but if a student is in clean clothes, jeans and a t-shirt with Hello Kitty or Batman, why ISN'T that acceptable for so many schools now? All the schools say it's cheaper for us. HOW?? We now have to buy 2 sets of clothes and do twice as much laundry...which means almost twice as much laundry detergent, almost twice as much water, almost twice as much electric, not to mention gas, to wash those extra clothes. Many parents simply can't afford two sets of clothes, so they put their child in what that child already owns.

    2. You CAN be a friend to your child AS WELL AS a parent. Some parents just lean WAY to one side or the other. Either being a friend and not knowing how to parent (then they wonder why their kid is misbehaving...umm...because YOU taught them that!!), or being so strict that when something serious happens they get angry (if you'd talked to your child, maybe he/she would have told you what was going on instead of hiding it).

    3. Many are so against spanking (spanking and beating are two ENTIRELY different things!), that shaming them online is the best discipline they can think of because "they've tried everything else."

I think you are getting jaded dealing with the lower socio-economic group you are dealing with on a day to day basis. These issues don't come up working at a private school. Consider a job change.

The entire world is upside down.

We've all gone crazy. It's best to just play along...
