Am i being unreasonable?
Okay so my mother just kicked me out, no big deal, I hate my mother.Im 18 with 4k in the bank. School is taking ALL my time and I work weekends. I had to bike like 18 miles a day and got sick of it, so I bought a car. A big one! Like a truck. Beautiful, very proud of it. I'm also still financially good, but my dad and grandmother act like I'm craze. I'm not stupid and figured I would be able too pay for the diesel by I figured my boss would let me fill it up ones a week. I work at a farm and they got a lot of it. Of cours my normaly nice boss wouldn't let me fill her her up. So since I'm kinda clever I found a way to make good quality biodiesel by blending WMO and RUG. IT WORKS! I'm driving on 65 cents a gallon! Or rather 10 bucks a week opposed to 50 bucks a week! It's essentially biodiesel. I figured that would be smart and GREEN. My grandmother is acting like its illegal and criminal. I'm an asshole by nature so I don't care but I can't help it raising my blood pressure since my grandma and my best friend are the only people I care about. Even my best friend is skeptical. I'm totally being rational as well! It has been proven to work. They make you pay a lot for it at the pomp. Are my loved ones idiots or am I being irrational?

'Since im kind of clever..' You know thats what most people say or think of themselves when they do something that they shouldn't. Just because you can does not mean you should. Buckle down and listen to the people around you. Instead of finding illegal ways to do stuff. You sound bright, but you are heading for a ditch right about now as you can see. Be smart and listen to your parents.
Ok if it is legal thats ok but you family are mad at you becuase you bought a huge car for school. Listen to their concerns. Thats all I have to say.

A truck for school is not exactly normal. At least for your grandmas sake and everyone elses you should calm down a bit and wait until you can have a normal car.
Again, just because you can does not mean you should just do anything. Save that money and continue saving until you can get a suitable car that won't increase your risk of danger. Your familys not saying do not get car*
Source(s): Your actions will decide how clever you are when ypu get in trouble *but they do not want dangerous ish situation or any likeness of that. Thats all. If you do get a normal car and they still have issues then what Sarah said I would approve of. They should be more supportive especially if you are not doing anything to cause any doubt for them. I think they're intimidated by your success because someone should be telling you they are proud of your hard work and your ability to make things work. Family and friends should never put you down so much you start questioning yourself

It seems that you are being reasonable, but I just don't see why you came on here to ask if you are. I see that you are being smart and conservative while still being polite to everyone around you.

Stop acting like a toddler and accept the fact mommy cut the gravy train off and no one will cater to you or coddle you.
What you are doing is ILLEGAL and you will be caught and you will arrested and will whine and cry about it
