You also fail to appreciate that when people come to the USA they become Americanized. Maybe a small number are as you say, but most are not.

The argument you're using has been used many times throughout our history and they've always failed. They will fail again because our history demonstrates that diversity is a strength, not a weakness or something to be feared.

It is indeed the case that almost all Muslims are deeply homophobic. However, the fact remains that tolerance is important and sometimes we have to forget our differences for the sake of the greater good, which for example is why some churches allow Muslims in to observe their own rituals if mosques are for some reason unusable. You don't have to agree with everything someone believes to cooperate. Free speech and all that, you know?
