Health Informatics - Health Information Management?

Can someone please explain the difference between the two disciplines elaborately?

    HI can be divided into HIT and HIM, but they overlap so much and are so often used interchangeably that there is no meaningful difference between the two in practice.

    HIT claims to focus more on the technology, while HIM focuses more on management, but you can't manage the data without understanding the technology, and you can't manage the technology without knowing about the data being managed.
