Is it common for people with Schizotypal personality disorder to be manipulative or just abusive?

I have a good friend- who is going through divorce. I know that her ex-husband didn't start getting abusive until after a couple years. I think he is Schizotypal. Do you think he could have hid his abusive nature or just flipped at some point

Schizotypal has nothing to do with being abusive. People with Schizotypal tend to be serious hermits but abusive? Not. Really no. Just not part of that disorder. i think you picked a scary sounding one and labeled him without even knowing what it is....

    Yes.

It is also common for abusive people to claim they have anyting to keep you with them.

Just how do you know he has Schizotypal personality disorder ?
