Communism was a really popular way to control eastern Europe for a few decades. Actually it was just dictatorship, but they called it communism. Asia caught on to that trend too, only they didn't realize that it completely failed everywhere else. And secrecy is always part of communist dictatorships, because it just is. They make up their own version of everything and insist that it's true, mostly because they can. They rule their people with an iron fist, and anyone who dares to even question the ruling communist party is imprisoned forever or simply shot.

Something the size of the Great Pyramid would be easily verifiable by looking in Google Earth, and there are a lot of people who look for stuff like that. Why don't you track down a reference that's more definite than "its said or "according to the archeologists" and go from there?

The pyramids in China are tombs of ancient emperors. Chinese religion is founded on veneration of ancestors. Confucian philosophy calls for paying respect to one's ancestors, an aspect of filial piety.

IF such structures really exist, they would be a tremendous tourist attraction. I'm guessing you've fallen victim to conspiracy theory nonsense. Source the story and I'm betting you find nothing about it in any mainstream sites.
