why is my kitten going mad? is it defected?

I saw the videos and decided to get one but he start running at midnight till morning . HE IS VERY STRANGE LIL FUKER

    If you do a major "play time" before bed (yours) you may find more peace during the night. Play with a toy he can chase,and catch (feathers on a string). When he is tired, he will stop playing. Feed him and then go to bed.

    It is normal for cats to be awake at night as that is when they hunted for food, when they were feral. Play times during the day should help.
