Cramps but no period?

I think my period's about a week late. I've felt stressed/emotional like you do on your period during this week and my mum said I'm probably hormonal that's why it's late. But a few minutes ago I started having mild dull cramps and I checked and still no period. I googled it and a common cause is pregnancy but I'm 14 and the only penises I've ever seen belong to my dad and my brother so that can't be it. I don't expect anyone on here to know but I thought it wouldn't hurt to just ask
