Pay all your bills in full on time, be it rent, utilities, phone, loans, cable, any bill opened in your name Get a credit card, use it sparingly and pay it in full before the due date ALWAYS. If you are offered to purchase something on credit, with no interest for a set period that you can afford, accept it, but be sure it is paid in full before the interest kicks in. In time you will have established a credit score. You'll find a good credit score the doorway for future car loans, mortgage, purchases made on credit to get the best interest % rate.
