What could this object/s be spotted by SOHO near Earth's star?
What natural occurrences could cause something like this to manifest itself? Why would humans put something like this, at this distance, by Earth's star. I'm not saying we put it there just to be clear, I'm just looking for reasons any intelligent entity would have for putting something so close to the Earth's star. This "structure" has been spotted numerous times or at least objects that are similar have been spotted by SOHO from 2011 to current. I do understand this could be written off as poor quality or glitches. I cannot upload photos apparently but here is a link and much more information is available via a quick google search.
Wow, why bother posting to only parrot the source material? This question was posted in an effort to hear speculation on other possible causes not what is just being stated in this particular article. The fact is this occurrence happened so far away with such minimal observance we truly cant say definitively that energetic protons were the only possible cause. Open your minds people, attitudes like this will most certainly cause the phenomenal progress humanity has made to stagnate.

Ah, so reading the article itself was too much work was it.
It very clearly states "The streaks in question are consistent with energetic particle (proton) impacts on the CCD, something which is apparent in just about every image".
The article itself explains what the 'objects' are.

Energetic proton striking the charge coupled devices. Similar things apparent on nearly every image. Must be a lot of flying saucers up there. Maybe they are barbecuing steaks with the heat of the Sun or trying for a tan.
UFOs are 99.999999% baloney.

Why don't you read THE WHOLE ARTICLE before going off and speaking out of the wrong end of your gastrointestinal tract.
