When using an SLI setup with two GeForce cards, can I use the HDMI out on each for separate monitors?
Or would I need to use two outputs from the 'main' card?
Each card has one HDMI and several DisplayPort outputs, so I'm wondering if I need a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, or if I can use the HDMI output on the second card.
I don't have the second card yet so I can't test, but want to have what I need when it gets here. I know that some have strong opinions on SLI and whether it is useful. I got a fantastic deal on a second card and figured I'd go SLI, so I don't need any speeches about SLI being stupid etc, just trying to figure out what I need.
I'll be using this for an HTC Vive, but my understanding is that a VR headset works the same as a second monitor would.

Here's Nvidia's info on it, pretty easy to find via Google:

It seems you can only connect to the main card when using SLI.
