Does a guy without any talents have any chance of having a girlfriend?

I have no talents whatsoever, at least none that mean anything to women. I can't play any instruments, nor sing, nor write songs.

I know for a fact that any guy who can do any of those things would usually have no problem getting a girlfriend, and a desirable one at that.

You can't say that "you know for a fact" and then talk in generalities. Generalities aren't facts.

I dated and married a guy who was a drummer. He sang and wrote songs too. He also was a violent, mean drunk who beat me so badly I had a miscarriage. I divorced him. Many years later I got engaged to a percussionist, but it turned out that he was a irresponsible, lying, cheating sack of poop.

Talents are in the eye of the beholder. I personally think that honoring one's commitments, being a responsible and solid citizen and human being are much more important than some random skill. The guy I'm married to now can't play any instruments or write any songs, although he does sing to me now and then...and I've never been happier.

  • Dating is not a talent show. I don't sing (unless I'm very intoxicated and then I sing very poorly), I can't play an instrument (in fact my only musical talent is listening to it).

It's never been a problem. Think about your hobbies, interests, passions. When you know the answer to that...you'll know where to look.

Talent... who has that these days anyway. My BF can roll a blunt, that's "talented" lol. In all seriousness, no one cares about that these days. Really, who cares as long as you treat the person right.
