I'm 44 years old, 5'8", never been in a serious relationship. Would a short loser like me have any chance of ever being in one? Or do guys like me usually live their entire lives alone and unloved?

BQ: Suppose, by some odd chance, a woman actually is interested in me. Then I question her as to why she is. I say "No one else has ever been into me, so I don't know why you are".

I have an uncommon last name that no one ever spells correctly, and people even have a hard time pronouncing it when seeing it on paper. Why would a woman want to marry someone like that, and have her new last name constantly misspelled/mispronounced, and have to spell it every time?

I'm in my 30's, and there is this woman (28) who I've been friends with since this past summer. We've been talking a lot since then. She brought up the subject of dating, and she hinted that she would want to date me.

I asked her, "Why would you want to date a complete loser like me?". She said she doesn't think I'm a loser. Then I mentioned 10 things about myself that make me completely unworthy of dating or ever being in a relationship.

I'm 44, and I haven't had any dates at all in 2016. I had one in December 2015, and my last one before that was January 2015. Before that, I hadn't had a date since 2011. Should I just count on being alone for the rest of my life?

I had a date with a woman last Saturday. We met online, and everything went very well for us. I even texted her after the date telling her that, to which she replied positively.

However, I have not texted or contacted her at all this week. Will she find someone else to date?

I'm a licensed electrical contractor, and just completed a wiring project that passed final inspection a few days ago. The general contractor owes me for all the labor and materials, which I have not bothered to contact him to arrange to collect. What would happen if I don't, and I also ignore any texts from him asking to meet up for payment?

Suppose I'm dating a woman, and I develop a serious chronic disease which I get diagnosed with. Then I break up with her as to relieve her of the burden of dealing with it, and deal with it on my own. Then I set her free to find someone else who is healthy and date him instead.

I'm looking for a good dating app that works better than Tinder does, in that it actually works for older, less-attractive men like myself.

Or should I just accept the fact that I will probably be alone as a single loser my entire life?

I just attended the IBMA conference and festival in Raleigh, two weeks ago, but now this week I keep having dreams about bluegrass bands and musicians.

Guys who are around 20 seem to have no trouble at all getting girlfriends (and girls getting boyfriends). But I'm 44, never been married, and I haven't even had a date in at least 5 years.

We've been dating 5 weeks, and everything is going perfectly well. However, there is a problem now, that has just come up.

Yesterday, we both went to a bluegrass music festival, and they had a "scramble" event. This is where audience members who can play instruments (and happen to have them with them) can sign up to be called to form an impromptu band with others playing different instruments.

I played my banjo, and I made a lot of mistakes on stage. I don't think I sounded good at all, but my girlfriend still says I did.

I want to send a text to her saying "I am a worthless piece of trash. I don't know why you ever agreed to be my girlfriend in the first place."

What can I do with Twitter that I can't already do with Facebook? Why do I need all these different social media accounts?

I have no talents whatsoever, at least none that mean anything to women. I can't play any instruments, nor sing, nor write songs.

I know for a fact that any guy who can do any of those things would usually have no problem getting a girlfriend, and a desirable one at that.

I've been dating my girlfriend for about a month. Today we attended a bluegrass music festival and had a great time! Some of our favorite bands were performing.

There was an event at the festival called "bluegrass scramble", where attendees volunteer to place their name in one of 7 containers (one for each instrument plus vocals), if they play that particular instrument (or sing). The MC draws one name each, and those people need to meet up and form an impromptu band and perform a few songs on stage.

My name was drawn for vocals, so I sang a couple of songs, and then the rest of my band members did an instrumental, so I didn't participate in that song (since I was only vocals). I played back a video of the performance, and I think I did terrible. Since I can't sing very well, and now my girlfriend knows this since she saw the performance, I'm thinking I would best break up with her. She deserves a much better person than me, and one who can sing well. And even better, one who can play a bluegrass instrument well.

FYI, she told me after the performance that I did a great job. I think she's just saying that to be kind.

Anyway, after I took her home, I told her that I don't think we should see each other anymore. She doesn't need an untalented, worthless loser like me.There were a lot of guys my age or younger (even girls) who were playing the instruments very well at the festival, too. I'm not even that attractive looking nor smart. She could do a lot better than me.

Would a 360 or a One be more likely to be able to play those games? I realize they are two different, incompatible systems.
