Hi, yes, you do have a chance. I'm a short girl 5' 2" and my last boyfriend was shorter than me! Height doesn't matter. If she likes you, she likes YOU.

I’m seriously hoping this is just a troll post mocking guys who can’t take responsibility for their lousy personalities. As everyone else here has said, 5’8 is actually pretty tall. It is the loser mentality that makes women want nothing to do with you.

Take the word loser out of your vocabulary. Your height is good. Need to be confident.

It's no wonder you're alone! Why on Earth would you say such a thing to someone who gave you the chance you've been wanting? Go ahead and ask inside your head, but don't say it out loud.

There are plenty of women 5'8" or less that are looking for a guy, but they find confidence a bigger turn on than your opening line.

The problem is not your height, it's that you frump around with nothing to offer in conversation. It's time to take responsibility for your side of a relationship, because plenty of very attractive guys are your height or even shorter:

Find an activity you enjoy and can talk about intelligently, or signup to volunteer for a non-profit. Your problem isn't that you're short,it's that you are telling people they shouldn't be interested, and then you proceed to be dull to prove it. You can catch the eye of a girl, if you have something to offer. Be funny and generous and creative, and your height won't matter.

Because you have this attitude that you don't deserve anyone and you're so negative about yourself---THIS is why you'll probably be unsuccessful in dating.

There are plenty of doods that are shorter than you are with life-long relationships. Change your attitude about self ...be positive and people will want to be around you.

I disagree with you when you say you are short as I know lots of guys your age and older that are same height as you and my long term partner is same height and I am 5.5. I think your problem is lack of confidence which shows to female and possibly you are overdoing the desperation. I am divorced and was 45 when I started dating again and I went out with guys shorter than you and as I said current partner is 5'8. You need to forget about your height and just be yourself and get to know people and I am sure from there you will meet a female, Good Luck

I don't think 5'8" is that short considering the average height of women is 5'4", and even if you were really short i have seen plenty of short guys who have girlfriends.
