The previous answerer might well be right. There are other people, other circles to come out to. Give yourself the right and the privilege to keep your sexual preferences to yourself, even if you cherish the illusion that your confidences may break the intrafamilial taboo around homosexuality.
Even so, it is not completely impossible to take the risk to be open: if your family considere their love for you to be an higher standard to judge you than some biblical morals.....

It sometimes pays to keep quiet and let them find out themselves when they realise you have no interest in dating the opposite sex or any view to marry. Once you reach the age of 35, they will know without you having to say a word. And it may surprise you that most parents and siblings know, long before you find the courage to tell them.
