add k&n filtet and jett carb or not?

have a 2007 honda shadow aero 750.. it has vance and hines straoght shots on it.. carb had not been jetted.. adjust a/f on carb and really no popping or backfiring on decel.. so it really doesnt need jetted with the pipes alone.. my question is if i removed snorkel from aor box, added a k&n filtet and jetted carb would there be a noticeable difference or should i just leave it where it is

    Believe it or not intakes are "tuned" and messing with the intake can mess up the intake airflow (resonance) at various rpms and cause the bike to run too lean or too rich. But hey, it's your bike.

    Pull the spark plugs and check them for burn than re-jet if necessary, you want to see the burn not listen for it.
