Phone/SIM-card support?

I want to switch phones (HTC 510 Desire [terrible] to an LG stylo 2) through amazon (https://www.amazon.com/LG-Stylo-Prepaid-Carrier-Lo... The phone looks good but it says its locked. I have a plan I want but I need to know if I can just put my current simcard into the new phone and have my number and plan stay the same. (Virgin Mobile)

The phone is Virgin and your carrier is Virgin, they're totally compatible. You'll have to swipe SIM but you've to activate the phone on your account first. What you need to do is when you get the phone, just call your carrier and have it activated on your account.

If the phone is locked to Virgin Mobile, you're good to go.
