Do you think my library will let me take out two books if I didn't return an overdue book?

The book I didn't return is due a month ago and still hasn't been returned so you think my library will let me take out two new books?

Depends on the policy of your library

Why don't you just renew or return the overdue book?

It probably depends if it has gone to collection yet. But better yet, just go ahead and pay it, then there will absolutely be no problem to check out any books. Easy solution.

If you return the overdue book and pay the fines, yes. Otherwise, no.
