I met a homeless teenage boy and want to help him. How do I help?

He's about 14 and lives on the streets. When I saw him begging for money, he was so thin and dirty. I feel so bad for him. What can I do to help this poor boy? So far, I've been giving him food, water bottles, and have been considering letting him into my house to shower and for a safe place to sleep. What else should I do?

    Call child protective services. He has no place in "your" home. Showers and a place to say are provided by the state.
