I need help with my boyfriend?

My boyfriend's father is really abusive. My boyfriend is submissive and stutters a lot. He also wets his pants when he gets freaked out and there's a reason he can't have liquids a few hours before he goes to bed. I've stuck with him through thick and thin and I want to help him, but he won't call Child Protection Services because he's afraid they won't do anything and he'll get another beating. How should I help him? And I've been told that frequent wetting yourself is the sign of something wrong. I'd also like to know what could be wrong.

You should confront the father yourself and inform him if his son gets beat again, you- along with your mom and dad- will be getting in touch with CPS and the police.

Tell them discipline is fine when it's for the best interests of the child, done with love and sternness when the child does something willfully disobedient or immoral. But, that however, beating a kid as bad as they do is wrong- and especially wrong if the kid didn't do something severely bad to warrant it.

If he goes "are you saying I can't spank my child?!" Calmly say "no, spank him on the butt as much as you reasonably feel is necessary for punishment for what he did wrong. But don't hit him in the face, or wildly hit him, or physically discipline him at all without first explaining what he did wrong and why he's getting spanked. You must spank him in a way so as to improve him as a person- not to cause him to have psychological damage, wet the bed and develop a stutter. Harm him badly again? You'll go to jail."
