SR-22 Non-owners ?

I have a car and it's registered in my name but it doesn't work and it's been sitting in my garage because 1) it doesn't work and 2) I don't have a license because it's suspended. I need an SR 22 . My question is can I just get a Non-Owners SR-22 because I can't drive my car due to It not working and don't see it working for awhile or do I need to buy actual insurance or the DMV won't let me get my license back? Only need it to prove to my job that I have a valid license to drive the company truck

    If you have to have a SR22 they will run your license for there insurance and you,ll be fired, No company will pay the amount need for you to drive, sr22 is expensive. Also shows you are not responsible,

    If you need SR22 the companies insurance may not cover you.

    Your SR22 when you get ut is only basic cover.

    Yiu need to have an honest conversation with your manager.

    How about going to your DMV and get real answers instead of guess?!
