Videos run up the screen instead of across it.?
Videos I take on my smart phone, play back with no problem. However when I transfer them to my computer (running Windows 10), they play upwards - in other words I would have to put my head on one side or turn the computer on its edge. I do not want to do either , so I can I put things right?
I have re-started the computer and the phone, but this did not help.

Yes, use your video editing software to change the the video orientation from landscape to portrait - then resave.
