You can only close your Yahoo Account; you cannot close just your Yahoo Answer account. To close your Yahoo Account just use this Yahoo help site to close your account: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/account/SLN204...
By closing your Yahoo Account you will also close your other Yahoo features like Flickr, Groups and your email account. However, it will not delete any of your Yahoo Answers questions or answers. They will still remain with your (if any) profile. The difference is that if you click on your profile it will direct you to Yahoo home page.
My recommendation is that you just make all your questions and answers anonymous since you cannot delete questions that already have answers
