Why do people believe in demons?

    Believing in demons, monsters, and "other such things" is sort of the same thing. Although, in most cases, religion has brain washed the youth to believe in these tales. Even as adults humans fear the unknown, and in all honesty, that is all these beliefs are. Giving a name to the unknown. However, falsely naming what we do not understand leads to misunderstanding and sometimes arguing. Thus, the crusades occurred.
