He was motivated by hate, and a scientifically mistaken premise of racial superiority. Simply put, they were not a part of his idealized world so he implemented policy to get rid of them. He also utilized pre-existing bigotries against the Jews as part of a way to unify the Germans, placing them as part of a common enemy they need to expel. From there, the policies just warped until genocide was justified to them.

Mr. Hitler liked not every Arabic person on planet so he killed Jewish.

Becose Jewish is Arabic but different religious.

Every other the same, only religious different.

Since his mother was of Jewish race, I strongly believe he wasn't very pleased with her and this relation between the two of them had given him a large amount of distortion of reality.
