Mysterious lump in my neck?

I noticed an under the skin lump in the crook of my neck. It gives me more mental pain thinking it could be a sign of cancer, it doesn't really hurt. Feels a little sore like a bruise. What could it be?

    You are a hypochondriac, which is why you posted this here rather than asking your parents to take you to a doctor.

    Could be dozens of things, most of them not important. See a doctor if you want.
