Help braces hurt a lot?
I got braces for the bottom row of my teeth and they hurt a lot and I don't have any soft foods to eat. Lunch and dinner I had to eat hard foods and dinner I was in excruciating pain. Don't even think about ice cream- we don't have any and it's too cold anyways. What could I do? It hurts terribly. It didn't hurt as much when I got them for the top row of my teeth
Oh and my throat also hurts. is that normal? i accidentally swallowed a little of the thing they put on my teeth and my throat started hurting upon contact so maybe it was that?

It's completely normal. The pain will go away in about a week or two. The first time my brother got braces, he had to puree his chicken because that was the only non painful way he could eat his dinner.
