Emergence - are self-organization and thus some degree of complexity requirements for existence?

Emergence on this planet and around the broader universe seems to demonstrate an innate, ubiquitous principle of self-organization. Is this a necessary feature of any kind of existence?

No. That might be considered radically novel. Any new experience or aqusition of knowledge can happen without any self organisation. What is required is the capability for perception and the ability to relate to an existing status quo. Granted memory does enable self organisation, but that lightbulb moment requires the recognition of change and the emergence of something out of the ordinary.

  • BLife is complex only insofar as it is a divergence of many minds souls spirits and binary dual energies. The complexity is the incognisance. It is the beauty and beast of the world to my mind. It's complexity is the reason for its processes, peace is the escape and outcomes from it, the conpexkity allows all particles freedom, yet the highest purest must always be the ruling force, where this is not the case, andpretence to its mantle than actualisation is the case, then the complexity is an evil that suppresses the mind spirit and soul for its own benefit knows as a traversal of order.

Our thoughts and opinions are symptomatic of our presence and concordance within the complexity or lack of it. Our thoughts therefore are outcomes of inward unresolved processes. When cleared we move on in life. The chimerian world in its savage aspect feeds upon souls its deems hold a truth or capacity to be free despite its onslaughts and therefore savaged because of it. The earth is a duality of forces positive and unpositive and people are portals of either one of varying quotients. So my truth is not yours and you are not me. So to each its own.

Concluding closure is to be in harmony with its spectrum or an integral part of one of its aspects or free release from it.

    No.

Emergence is a notorious philosophical term of art. A variety of theorists have appropriated it for their purposes ever since George Henry Lewes gave it a philosophical sense in his 1875 Problems of Life and Mind. We might roughly characterize the shared meaning thus: emergent entities (properties or substances) ‘arise’ out of more fundamental entities and yet are ‘novel’ or ‘irreducible’ with respect to them. (For example, it is sometimes said that consciousness is an emergent property of the brain.) Each of the quoted terms is slippery in its own right, and their specifications yield the varied notions of emergence that we discuss below. There has been renewed interest in emergence within discussions of the behavior of complex systems and debates over the reconcilability of mental causation, intentionality, or consciousness with physicalism.
