why do people eat chicken and waffels?

It's like a hot roast beef or pork sandwich, which is sliced meat with gravy over top of sliced white bread. Just think of the waffle as a random carb, like mashed potatoes or noodles. It's arguably more interesting than just eating fries or a baked potato with everything.

I agree. It's too much trouble, eating the chicken with your hands, and then having to pick up the fork and knife to cut the waffle.

It was started when musicians would finish playing music in the early hours of the morning....too last for dinner, too early for breakfast. So they combined the two and ate chicken and waffles.

I agree. I'd rather have potato salad and cole slaw with fried chicken.

because it's a combo of sweet and savory. the waffles should be eaten with syrup not plain as without syrup it can be dry as fk and taste rather bland
