As much as I like Help!, My Generation ages better. I'm a Beatles' fan, but I like The Who as well. It's a close call.

The Who: My Generation is far more representative of youth in 1965, than was the Beatle's tepid little song.

I look at Help! and I don't see any songs I can't do without. Even the maudlin strains of yesterday is a track I no longer need to hear. I've moved on to Mull of Kintyre for such things.

In contrast, My Generation remains a timeless tract no matter who records it. The Kids are Alright likewise remains a haunting track.

The Beatles Help! by a mile

Help! is my favorite of the two. However, I'm a die-hard Beatles fan, so I'm a bit biased. Both songs are incredible.

I'm a huge fan of both bands, but I don't consider My Generation to be one of The Who's best songs. It's one of their most popular songs, but popular doesn't mean better. So I'm going to say Help.
